Living Well Dying Well Webinar

We invite you to join the upcoming Living Well, Dying Well webinar on Thursday 7 October, at 11.00am.

Living Well, Dying Well is a collaboration of Catholic agencies including Catholic Healthcare, Calvary Health Care, St Vincent’s Health Australia, Catholic Cemeteries & Crematoria, CatholicCare Sydney, CatholicCare Broken Bay, and the University of Notre Dame.

Living Well, Dying Well – the most important conversation you’ve never had will be presented by specialists and professionals in the field of end of life and palliative care including our own Nishi Rani, Regional Manager, Residential Care. The webinar will also examine how we as a society can better engage in this conversation.

Topics will include:

  • What it means to live well, and how this is connected to dying well
  • The role of volunteer accompaniment in the community
  • What the Catholic Church says about death, traditions around dying, burial and life beyond the earthly realm

Panellists include:

  • Professor David W Kissane: Chair of Palliative Medicine Research, The University of Notre Dame Australia and the Cunningham Centre for Palliative Care Research
  • Paige Bullen: Project Manager, Chaplaincy in the Community, CatholicCare Sydney
  • Nishi Rani: Regional Manager, Residential Care, Catholic Healthcare
