Our Senior Pilates class (chair option) is designed to challenge and support all abilities and fitness levels of seniors. Also aids in improved breathing and circulation for seniors.

Walking groups, supported by the Heart Foundation, are an effective way for seniors to stay active and improve heart health.Program outcomes: Meeting regularly at designated areas, seniors set off together, improving heart and lung function, leg strength, mobility, fitness levels, and maintaining bone density to reduce the risk of osteoporosis and fractures.

An ongoing program focused on resistance-based exercises, using light hand weights and resistance bands, along with light cardio tailored for seniors to keep their heart rate up. Program outcomes: Improves muscular strength, bone density, helps manage chronic health conditions such as high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, and boosts energy levels, burning fat for seniors.

Travel by private bus to destinations within 1-2 hours of your mind+move location. Scheduled social outings may include picnics on the beach, botanical garden walking trips, art gallery and museum visits and special trips to local and regional concerts. A fortnightly gathering for seniors with like-minded individuals to explore the world of literature and engage in discussions on hot topics. It will be a wonderful opportunity for seniors to catch up over morning tea and discuss the ins and outs of classics and new releases.Program outcomes include social connection, the opportunity to make new friends and engage with like-minded people, keeping the mind active and engaged, enhanced memory retention, and potentially delaying the onset of Alzheimer's and dementia.
