The Stepping On program offers an evidence-based fall prevention program designed to enhance your strength, balance, and confidence. Through a combination of proven fall prevention strategies and expert guidance, this program is designed to help reduce the risk of falls. You’ll experience improved physical health, greater confidence, and stronger social connections:
Note: Numbers of attendees are strictly limited so please book in early to avoid disappointment.
Who is suitable for this program?
Someone who:
- Is aged 65+ years, or Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders aged 45+ years.
- Lives at home (not in a residential aged care home).
- Is able to walk independently, with or without a walking stick.
- Has a fear of falling or has had a fall in the last year.
Note: The program is not suitable for people who have significant cognitive impairments or complex neuromuscular conditions.
