Frequently asked questions
-
How much do Allied Health Services cost?
The cost of Allied Health Services is different for every individual. There are several pathways you can choose based on your needs and circumstances:
Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)
We offer selected government subsidised allied health programs for people aged 65 and over through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP). To access these services you will require the relevant allied health code provided through My Aged Care under CHSP.
Support at Home (SaH)
If you have a Support at Home (SaH) with Catholic Healthcare, you can use your package funds to access Allied Health Services.
Private Home Care Services
You can access our Allied Health Services on a self-funded basis.
-
Who will provide my Allied Health services?
Your Allied Health services will be provided by Catholic Healthcare’s qualified Allied Health team, which may include physiotherapists, occupational therapists, registered nurses, allied health assistants, fitness instructors, podiatrists, dietitians, speech therapists and social workers, depending on your assessed needs and care plan. Where a Catholic Healthcare team member is not available in your area, we may arrange support through an approved accredited provider so you can continue to receive safe, high-quality care.
-
Can I choose between individual and group programs
Yes, based on your assessment needs you can elect an individual program or a group program, or a combination of both.
