Living Well, Dying Well Webinar Video

The Living Well, Dying Well webinar held in early October was an opportunity to hear from specialists and professionals in the fields of end of life and palliative care.

Living Well, Dying Well is a collaboration of Catholic agencies including Catholic Healthcare, Calvary Health Care, St Vincent’s Health Australia, Catholic Cemeteries & Crematoria, CatholicCare Sydney, CatholicCare Broken Bay and the University of Notre Dame.

The webinar tackled topics such as what it means to live well, and how this is connected to dying well, and explored what the Catholic Church says about death, traditions around dying, burial and life beyond the earthly realm.

Panellists include:

  • Professor David W Kissane: Chair of Palliative Medicine Research, The University of Notre Dame Australia and the Cunningham Centre for Palliative Care Research
  • Paige Bullen: Project Manager, Chaplaincy in the Community, CatholicCare Sydney
  • Nishi Rani: Regional Manager, Residential Care, Catholic Healthcare

We were delighted to have our Nishi Rani represent Catholic Healthcare on the guest panel.
