Catholic Healthcare is excited to announce that the construction on Stage One of the Jemalong Retirement Village in Forbes is now complete.

Stage One of the new Village features 19 new free-standing villas. The stylish two and three-bedroom residences are spacious and light and have open-plan layouts ideal for living and entertaining. The Village features a range of shared amenities that will be enjoyed by residents, their families and the broader community. This includes a community centre to host events, an on-site café and Chapel, and is located close to the township of Forbes. A total of 60 residences will be available once all stages are completed.

General Manager, Residential Care, Andrew Kinkade said, “We are committed and focused on creating much needed additional services in Forbes for the growing aged population. Construction has involved a significant amount of work over the past year and we are excited that our development is now complete. Half of our residences are already sold.

“As an organisation we continue to grow and expand our services for seniors and the community as the demand for retirement living increases. We look forward to welcoming our first residents to their new Village,” added Kinkade.

Sales Manager, Jenny Thomas said, “The Village is designed to bring people together. We understand the importance of maintaining a sense of community. You can be as active and social as you want. Meet up for book clubs, go out with other residents or enjoy a variety of social activities. Living amongst like-minded others with similar interests makes perfect sense.”
