Stephen has been a Director of Catholic Healthcare Limited since 1 September, 2018.  He was appointed Board Chair with effect from 25 July, 2021. 

In addition, Stephen spent five years as a Principal Consultant at Nous Group and 19 years at Deloitte, including seven years as a partner specialising in the health sector. 

Stephen is the Chair of the People & Remuneration Committee and a member of the Mission & Identity Committee.

Wayne has been a Director of Catholic Healthcare since 1 October, 2016 and was recently appointed Deputy Chairman on 1 July 2022.

Wayne is a former Executive Director of Macquarie Group, where he served in a number of senior roles in Australia and the UK. His last role was CEO, Macquarie Bank UK. Prior to Macquarie he worked as a Chartered Accountant.

Wayne has a strong corporate governance background, having served on the boards of regulated entities, infrastructure businesses and private equity investment companies. He has extensive experience in risk management, including several years in a senior leadership role in Macquarie’s Risk Management Group.

Wayne is the Chair of the Finance, Audit & Risk Committee and a member of the People & Remuneration Committee.

Anne has been a Director of Catholic Healthcare Limited since 1 January, 2021.

Anne is a Registered Nurse with extensive senior executive experience in health management and clinical governance. She is a non-executive director and Chair of the People Quality and Safety Committee for Centacare New England North West, non-executive director and Chair of the Nominations and Remuneration Committee for Arthritis NSW, and non-executive director and Treasurer for Family and Drug Support.

Anne has held director roles for the last 11 years, primarily in the Not-for-Profit Aged Care Sector.

Anne is the Chair of the Quality & Safety Committee and a member of the Mission & Identity Committee and the Strategic Asset Management Plan Committee.

Emeritus Professor Dr Margaret O’Connor AM., CF

Margaret is currently Emeritus Professor of Nursing at Monash University and a Clinical Researcher with Melbourne City Mission Palliative Care.

Margaret has extensive healthcare experience as a nurse, researcher and board director with a specialisation in end-of-life care. During her career Margaret has led the development of a number of home-based palliative care services in Melbourne and has held academic roles at La Trobe University and Swinburne University of Technology.

Margaret’s academic qualifications include a Doctor of Nursing, Master of Nursing, Bachelor of Theology and General Nurses Certificate. She has contributed to more than 160 peer-reviewed journal articles and is regularly invited as a keynote speaker on the topic of palliative care, ageing and dying.

Margaret is the Chair of the Mission & Identity Committee and a member of the Quality & Safety Committee.

Lynne has been a Director of Catholic Healthcare Limited since 1 August, 2022.

Lynne is an experienced non-executive director and chair with an executive background in banking technology, organisational transformation and commercial delivery of technology and data services. She is the Chair of Data Action Pty Ltd and the Chair of Geoscape Australia Limited. As founding partner of Strategy & Data Pty Ltd she helps leaders bring complex data and digital decisions to board and executive agendas.     

Lynne is a member of the Finance, Audit & Risk Committee and the Quality & Safety Committee.

Steven has been a Director of Catholic Healthcare Limited since 1 April 2024.

Steven is a non-executive director currently sitting on the Boards of the Pacific Smiles Group, the InvoCare Group, the Mater Group of Hospitals in Queensland, and Mercy Partners. He was previously the Chair of Monte Sant’ Angelo Mercy College, and a Board Director of the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, the Macquarie University Council and St Joseph’s Village.

Steven has over 30 years of healthcare Executive leadership experience including CEO roles at Healthscope, I-MED Radiology Network and St Vincent’s & Mater Health.

Steven is the Chair of the Strategic Asset Management Plan Committee and a member of the Finance, Audit & Risk Committee.

Grainne has been a Director of Catholic Healthcare Limited since 2 September 2024.

Gráinne is dual qualified as a chartered engineer and lawyer with a career spanning over 30 years in construction and development in both engineering and legal capacities. With more than a decade of experience in C-Suite and Non-Executive Director roles, Gráinne currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of TTW Engineering.

In addition to her executive role, she is a Non-Executive Director at Catholic Schools NSW, where she is an active member of the ARC, Capital Projects Evaluation, and Compliance and Resourcing Committees. Gráinne also holds a Non-Executive Director position at St Augustine’s College, Sydney, and chairs its Property and Building Committee.

Grainne is a member of the Finance, Audit & Risk Committee and the Strategic Asset Management Plan Committee.

Larissa has been a Director of Catholic Healthcare Limited since 2 September 2024.

Larissa is a strategic commercial and legal advisor with over 30 years’ experience in-house and in private practice both in Australia and internationally. Of relevance to Catholic Healthcare is her specialisation in health law and aged care in particular. Larissa has also previously served as a Senior Legal Member of the Guardianship Division of the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

As a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia (FGIA), a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and an experienced Non-Executive Director, Larissa has a comprehensive understanding of corporate governance and risk and compliance and has been involved in significant review and implementation processes in this area.

In addition to her role with Catholic Healthcare, Larissa has a broad portfolio of directorships within the health sector: she is the Deputy Chair of the Board of St John Ambulance NSW; a Director of the Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network; and a Director of Hunter Health Insurance.

Larissa is a member of the Quality & Safety Committee and the People & Remuneration Committee.
