Andrew Nee

Director of Mission

Andrew is the Director of Mission Catholic Healthcare. He joined the  organisation in February 2019.

Previously, Andrew was Director Mission Integration at St John of God Psychiatric Hospital Burwood in Sydney. He facilitated a number of formation programs. He was responsible for the ongoing development of pastoral services including a research project investigating the impact of pastoral care on patient well-being and health outcomes. Andrew also initiated the establishment of an Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander nursing scholarship in conjunction with the Australian Catholic University as well as establishing a partnership with Waminda Aboriginal Corporation.

Andrew’s professional qualifications include a Bachelor of Theology from Sydney College of Divinity and a Bachelor of Sacred Theology from the University of St Thomas, Rome. He has a rich background in mission including extensive pastoral, theological and liturgical experience across culturally diverse parish, hospital and school ministries.
