Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan Launch

It is with pride that today, as part of NAIDOC Week, we launched our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). Employees and members of our Board and Trustees came together today to celebrate at our RAP launch event at head office.

Attendees at our event watched a dance performance by Walenari and Diramu Aboriginal Dance Group. Walenari presented Acting CEO, Josh McFarlane with an Acknowledgment of Country plaque, which will be proudly displayed at our head office, in addition to each of our homes and office locations displaying their own plaques.

Together, we recognise that it’s time to make a positive difference in the way we work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We look forward to partnering with Reconciliation Australia over the coming years to create meaningful change at Catholic Healthcare.

Our ‘Reflect’ Reconciliation Action Plan is an important first step in the process and is one that is strongly endorsed by the Board and Leadership team, and across all areas of the organisation including Residential Care, Home and Community Services, Retirement Living and Healthcare.
