Meet Tracy Nyashanu

At Catholic Healthcare we are shining a ‘light’ on our people and the exceptional work they are all doing across our services. We share how team members are innovating, engaging and helping to make Catholic Healthcare a great place to work.

This week, meet Tracy Nyashanu, Residential Manager at St James Villa in Matraville.

Tracy has only recently commenced as the new Residential Manager and is looking forward to the role.

“I am excited to work with the team at St James Villa,” says Tracy.

“I am already building rapport with the residents and staff. Strong relationships are the key to yielding best outcomes for everyone in the Home.”

Tracy has had an interesting career journey having studied a Bachelor of Finance in Zimbabwe before moving to Australia in 2000. After 10 years in the banking and finance industry, Tracy began a Bachelor of Nursing and then quickly transitioned into aged care, where her passion lies.

Tracy has held a range of clinical senior leadership and quality and compliance roles with other aged care providers prior to joining Catholic Healthcare.

Tracy’s strong clinical background will benefit St James Villa and she plans to work closely with the team to support residents to live life to the full.

In her spare time, Tracy enjoys spending time with her family, singing and playing the guitar and keyboard.
