Meet Anna Encarnacion

At Catholic Healthcare we are shining a ‘light’ on our people and the exceptional work they are all doing across our services. We share how team members are innovating, engaging and helping to make Catholic Healthcare a great place to work.

This week, meet Anna Encarnacion, Residential Manager at St Bede’s Residential Aged Care Home, in Hurstville.

Anna is excited to take on her role as Residential Manager and is bringing many years of expertise to the management of the Home.

“St Bede’s is small, but beautiful,” says Anna. “The team are all so hard-working, caring and dedicated. I am excited to be able to contribute towards and enhance the high-quality of care that is already being delivered at St Bede’s.”

Anna has over 10 years’ experience working in the aged care industry as a Registered Nurse including working in operating theatre settings and in medical-surgical wards.

Before joining St Bede’s, Anna worked as Deputy Residential Manager, Quality Coordinator/Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) Coordinator at Catholic Healthcare’s Lewisham Aged Care Home in Sydney’s inner-west. This was a pivotal role that has provided Anna with valuable experience in managing a busy aged care home.

“I have been extremely busy supporting our residents and staff in the last couple of weeks,” says Anna.

“I’m highly motivated to undertake this role and I am excited for what lies ahead.”
