Home and Communities Consumer Advisory Body Update

Throughout March 2026, Catholic Healthcare conducted our Consumer Advisory Body (CAB) meetings for Home and Communities clients.

The Consumer Advisory Body (CAB) provides an environment exclusively for clients and family members to share their perspectives, experiences and expectations about the quality of care and services provided by Catholic Healthcare.

This year we facilitated 4 face-to-face meetings in both metro and regional areas as well as 4 online meetings to ensure we could gain a diverse range of participants.

Topics this year ranged from the importance of relationship-centred care, suggested improvements to communications, an increase in transparency around aged care services and discussions on how Catholic Healthcare can better assist people who are living on their own.

The valuable feedback captured by the CAB is being provided to the Catholic Healthcare Board for consideration and used to develop continual improvement recommendations.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Home and Communities Consumer Advisory Body meetings this year. If you missed out on attending this year, you are welcome to provide feedback at any time through our website: Your Feedback Matters

The Residential Care Consumer Advisory Body will be held in August this year. If this is of interest to you, you can register your interest here, and we will be in touch closer to the date: Join the Consumer Advisory Body | Catholic Healthcare
