In March 2026, Catholic Healthcare celebrated the official blessing and opening of Holy Cross Kincumber residential care home, ushering in a fresh, caring approach to residential care for the Central Coast community.
Residents, their families, dedicated employees, and community leaders gathered to honour Holy Cross Kincumber’s special role in supporting older adults in the region. Distinguished guests included Catholic Healthcare’s Chair of Trustees Patrick Cooper, Board Chair Stephen Teulan, Most Reverend Robert M McGuckin, Bishop Emeritus of Toowoomba, and the Very Reverend Dr. David Ranson, Vicar General of the Diocese of Broken Bay, along with other local community representatives.

State Member for Terrigal, Adam Crouch, officially cut the ribbon after warm remarks from Catholic Healthcare CEO Josh McFarlane and a heartfelt blessing led by Bishop McGuckin. The ceremony truly reflected the spirit of community, care, and belonging that defines Holy Cross Kincumber.
‘Holy Cross Kincumber is about more than just providing care, it’s about creating a genuine sense of belonging, where residents, families, and team members feel connected and supported,’ said Mr. McFarlane.
‘This new home is a true reflection of our mission: to serve with compassion, dignity, and respect, and to create spaces where people can flourish.’
