mind+move is expanding!

Catholic Healthcare’s innovative mind+move, which is part of our Home and Community Services offering, is expanding to more locations this coming quarter!

By June, there will be 8 hubs operating throughout NSW, including new hubs at Warnervale, Wagga Wagga, Waterloo, Willoughby and Lewisham, complementing our existing hubs at McQuoin Park in Wahroonga, Holy Spirit Casula and Dubbo.

Mind+move is a tailored Leisure and Wellness club for seniors, helping them to enjoy a happier healthier self with a diverse range of online and face-to-face activities including exercise, pilates, art classes, book and music clubs and group excursions.

Seeing the positive impacts to the lives of our Mind+move clients is truly rewarding! Client, Ngaire enjoys the social benefits, having formed new friendships with fellow mind+move participants. Client, Ian says, “If I wasn’t participating in these groups, I do know that my life would be a lot more limited in terms of movement, strength and coordination”.

NSW seniors were able to experience some of our mind+move activities at our recent NSW Seniors Festival events held across NSW including Wahroonga, Warnervale, Dubbo, and Casula. Attendees were blown away at the breadth of activities available in the mind+move program.
