The New Ageing Well Masterclass Series Begins in March

Catholic Healthcare is proud to be part of the Ageing Well Masterclass Webinar Series.

The series brings together clinical experts and professionals in the field of ageing, from CatholicCare Sydney, Grief Care, Australian Catholic Super, NSW Trustee & Guardian and Catholic Healthcare.

The five-part webinar series is designed to provide practical tips and advice around the common issues around ageing, as well as provide connections to relevant services and supports.

Delivered in 5 weekly instalments, the Ageing Well masterclasses are designed to provide practical advice and support to help you navigate some of the issues around ageing, along with information about the services available to you.

The weekly masterclasses commence in March. The masterclass sessions will cover the following topics:

Social Connection and Psychological Wellbeing

Exploring the importance of social connections and ways to improve social connections, mental illness in later life and ‘five ways to wellbeing.'

Physical Wellbeing

Exploring physical exercise, nutrition, fall prevention, health checks, carer fatigue and memory loss.

Navigating Aged Care

With such a large range of aged care options, this masterclass will explore which option is best for each individual.

Financial Planning for Retirement and Beyond

This will focus on mapping out financial needs in retirement, with tips provided by the NSW Trustee & Guardian.

Ageing Gracefully and Living Fruitfully

This final masterclass will focus on Catholic spirituality relating to ageing and the challenges for a more faith-filled life.
