It was lovely to welcome so many local seniors to the sold-out McQuoin Park Open Day.
Visitors to the site, which features Catholic Healthcare's Home Care Leisure and Wellness Club, the Retirement Living Village and Residential Aged Care Home, learned about the services on offer and took tours with our friendly staff.
Erin Stubbs, Allied Health Specialist for Catholic Healthcare, presented on the Leisure and Wellness Club's range of exercise programs and activities - getting everyone up to participate. Geralyn Ong, Care Advisor for Home Care Northern Sydney, presented on the services and support people can access with a Home Care Package or the Commonwealth Home Support Programme.
The Home Care session was followed with a tour of the McQuoin Park Retirement Living Village and/or the Residential Aged Care Home.
There was great complimentary food and coffee with local seniors, adult children and social workers from the nearby hospital viewing all the facilities on offer.
McQuoin Park visitor, Younh Kim, commented saying "Thank you for a lovely morning. The facilities and the people have been wonderful. The most important thing is that the people that work here are nice people."
