Our Lady of Loreto Gardens Residential Aged Care on the Central Coast held its annual gardening day recently, helping bring to life the Home’s namesake by maintaining and improving the lovely gardens.

Residents were involved in planting vegetables and plants, as well as hanging Christmas lights throughout the newly developed garden area.

Residents enjoyed their time in the shade under the Home’s recently completed pergolas and shade sails. Two new pergolas have been added, plus additional even walkways, new outdoor furniture and an artificial grassed area. The gardens are a beautiful place for residents to gather and to sit with visiting family and friends.

Residential Manager, Brad Roberts, also presented volunteers Ruth, Robin, John and Ken with their Christmas gifts and gave appreciation and thanks for all their hard work throughout the year.

Thanks to Matthew Tierney, Maintenance Supervisor, for organising the gardening day.
