Catholic Healthcare is delighted to announce the 2020 Home & Community Services Region of the Year is South West NSW.

This is an annual award and criteria is based on the results achieved across key success areas including high engagement scores from both staff and Home Care clients, client growth, plus high levels of client and staff retention.

The South West region was recognised in a ceremony at the Home & Community Services Conference in Leura in November. The team is now being recognised locally at each site in Wagga Wagga, Bathurst and Young for their exemplary efforts. Catholic Healthcare’s South West region covers Central West NSW, Riverina Murray, and the Southern Highlands.

“There was a number of key criteria involved and our region was lucky enough to be named as the recipient of this award,” says Narelle Pabis, Regional Manager.

“Our staff have done a fantastic job this year supporting senior Australians to live independently at home, for longer. Our Net Promotor Score is 48 and customer satisfaction rates 90% and over. Team collaboration and working with one heart in the one direction helped achieve our goals.”

“Narelle and the team are to be congratulated,” says Therese Adami, General Manager, Home & Community Services. “Their Care Runs Deep with everything they do. Their dedication, efforts and continuous commitment to support our clients and achieve the desired growth of business and staff, in what has been a challenging year, is impressive.

“Through our NPS research, we know the South West team’s clients are more likely to recommend our Home Care services to their family and friends than any other provider. Clients particularly appreciate the reliability and consistency of their local Community Workers.

“It is lovely to see the teams enjoying some time together to receive their award.”

The South West region offers Home Care packages, Commonwealth Home Support Services, and health and wellness programs.

“Many clients express the wish to stay at home as long as possible, and we offer a range of services to fulfil these wishes.”.
