Small acts of kindness, big smiles

There were smiles all round when parcels of gifts and goodies were delivered to residents of St Paul’s Northbridge.

Year 4 children from the nearby St Philip Neri Catholic School in Northbridge created handmade boxes with treats inside for the residents and a basket of goodies for the staff – part of the schoolchildren’s focus on ‘small acts of kindness’.

“We were very impressed with the care taken folding such beautiful boxes and cards,” says Anita, Recreational Activities Officer at St Paul’s. “The folded letters, which were sealed with heart stickers, were beautifully written. There was so much care and thought in every card and letter – it was very heartwarming. One of the most moving gifts we have received at St Paul’s."
