A night at the circus

Jim (pictured), a resident from Emmaus Village in Kemps Creek recently enjoyed a special night at the circus.

Working most of his life as the advance booking manager and pay master for Stardust Circus, Australia’s famous and largest animal circus, Jim loved every moment of his evening at Webers Circus’ Wild West show.

Whilst at Stardust, Jim was always a step ahead organising the next towns to visit, and as pay master was responsible for putting $80,0000 in cash into pay envelopes each fortnight.

Webers Circus generously allowed Jim to attend the show free of charge. Securing front row tickets, Jim smiled throughout the entire performance watching death defying acrobats, funny clowns, trick dogs, miniature ponies, Russian swings and more.

Catholic Healthcare’s Administration Assistant, Debbie, who accompanied Jim, said, “I have never seen him so happy. At the end of the night I was able to take a photo of Jim with some of the performers he knew. It was a such a fantastic night and meant the world to him.”
