Residents at Catholic Healthcare’s St Peter’s Residential Aged Care in Lane Cove North celebrated Easter on the Green today with live performances, a kindifarm and face painting for the kids, plus a delicious BBQ.

To top it all off the Woolworths team from the local store in Lane Cove donated more than 100 chocolate eggs to the Home for the delighted 93 residents to enjoy over the Easter long weekend.

Residential Aged Care Manager of St Peter’s, Dan Brice said, “It’ so kind and generous of Woolworths to do this for the second year in a row. It means so much to our residents to get the chocolate eggs, as some don’t receive many gifts.”

“Easter on the Green is a special day in our calendar. It’s important to mark this occasion and at St Peter’s we try to make Easter as special as possible for our residents. Our Easter Show is run for the enjoyment of our residents and our community. It is always humming with excitement and fun. Most of our residents don’t get to go to the Royal Easter Show so we bring the show to them,” added Dan.
