Contract Signed for Catholic Healthcare’s New Residential Aged Care Home in Norwest

Catholic Healthcare was delighted to officially mark the appointment of Richard Crookes Constructions to construct a new residential aged care home in Norwest.

The contract was signed at Catholic Healthcare’s Macquarie Park offices.

The new residential aged care home located at 64 MacKillop Drive in Norwest will provide 104 resident places and feature a range of shared amenities that will be enjoyed by residents, their families and the broader community. This will include a Chapel, café, gym, hair salon and other activity and lifestyle spaces.

Catholic Healthcare’s General Manager of Property, Michael Lockwood said, “We are committed and focused on creating much needed additional services in Norwest and the surrounding Hills district to cater for the growing aged population.”

“As an organisation we continue to grow and expand our services for seniors and the community as the demand for aged care increases,” added Lockwood.

In attendance at the signing were Catholic Healthcare’s Managing Director, David Maher; Company Secretary, Elizabeth Oliver; General Manager – Property, Michael Lockwood; Manager – Construction, Mark Ardouin; Project Manager – Construction, Iulia Brooks and representatives from Richard Crookes Constructions including Managing Director, Jamie Crookes; CFO, David Sharp; Joint General Managers – Aged Care, Martin Patience and Rod Burger as well as the Project Manager - Centurion Group, Nick Winberg.

Construction is scheduled to commence in January 2020.
