Catholic Healthcare announces that non-executive director Stephen Teulan (pictured above) has been appointed Chair Designate of Catholic Healthcare Limited with effect from 16 July 2020.

The Trustees believe that an orderly handover is essential to ensure that the business of the Company continues to deliver on its Mission and strategic aims, therefore, Stephen will serve in the role of Chair Designate for a transition period until he takes up the role as Chairman of the Board.

Stephen joined the Catholic Healthcare Limited Board on 1 September 2018. Stephen brings a wide range of strategic and leadership expertise to the Board with proven experience in health and aged care organisations, in social service and social justice advocacy, and in working in a bi-cameral Church structure. Stephen brings mission leadership experience to Catholic Healthcare in the challenges and opportunities ahead.

“Catholic Healthcare’s Mission is particularly relevant in this current and uncertain environment with increasing demands being made on health, aged and home care services”, Stephen said. “Catholic Healthcare is committed to its Mission of promoting life in all its fullness by providing aged, health and Home Care services, inspired by the Catholic faith-tradition in accordance with our values of honesty, hospitality, compassion, excellence and respect.”
