Spring was in the air at Wentworth Falls this month, as residents, staff and the local community came together at the revived Bodington Spring Fair.

Bodington residents spent the lead up to the event making craft items for sale at the fair, with small knitted mice, elephants, rabbits and gloves particularly popular with visitors. Bodington’s chef and the catering team baked cakes and other delicacies. The fair also featured a range of stalls selling jewellery, books, arts and crafts, plants, face painting and a lucky dip, along with a delicious sausage sizzle.

Many local businesses and community groups came together to support the fair and to provide dontated goods for sale, making the day a great success for eveyone involved.

Rebecca Bishop, Bodington Care Manager, was grateful for everyone who helped on the day.
“Thank you to all who helped make the day a huge success. Thanks to ourstaff who helped theresidents browse through the goodies and spend some time at the fair. We can’t wait for next year’s fair!”

Funds raised from the Spring Fair will go back to the residents and be used to provide activities, outings and materials for next year’s event.
