Join our 8-week group program designed to keep you on track for optimum health this Summer

Feel Fit runs for 1 hour a week and combines fitness exercises with health education, giving you the skills you need to improve your vitality. 

About the program

What is included?

Over the 8-week program your trainer will introduce a variety of exercises and health topics, focusing on chronic conditions that can affect us into our senior years. 

Week 1: Falls prevention and setting your personal goals
Week 2: The health benefits of exercise
Week 3: Exercising with osteoporosis
Week 4: Exercising with osteoarthritis
Week 5: Your cardiorespiratory health
Week 6: Diabetes and nutrition for good health
Week 7: Posture, neck and back health
Week 8: Review of your personal goals and next steps

You'll also receive a free gift that includes an exercise noodle and hand weights, so that you can continue to exercise at home after the program is complete.

How much does it cost?

The cost is $15 per session, or $120 for the full 8-week program

These costs can be funded by:

  • Your Home Care Package; or
  • Complete self-contribution
Who will be my trainer?

Each program is facilitated by both a qualified physiotherapist and a Catholic Healthcare exercise instructor. Our staff are specially trained in delivering our programs and supporting the health and wellbeing of our clients.

Am I eligible?

The program is designed for anyone aged 65+ who is looking to gain the skills to improve their vitality. It is suitable for any fitness level and qualified trainers will get to know you and your unique needs. 

You don't have to be a Catholic Healthcare client to attend, so we encourage you to sign up with a family member or friend!

If you are a Home Care Package client with Catholic Healthcare, this program can be funded by your package.
