Volunteers

We are always looking for passionate, dedicated volunteers to join our team. Volunteers play a significant role across Catholic Healthcare and if you have a passion for helping others and want to enhance the quality of peoples' lives, there are many ways you can become involved. As a volunteer, you can select from 41 residential aged care services or provide a home visit through the community services program. Some assist with fundraising, preparing and serving food, providing support and companionship, others assist with recreational activities, home visitation, taking an elderly and isolated person on an outing or administrative duties.

Volunteering at Catholic Healthcare is very flexible. Even if you can only commit to a certain amount of time, to volunteer helps make a difference to many peoples' lives.

To know more about the volunteer positions available, please call our Corporate Office on (02) 8876 2100 or 1800 225 474.

"For me, being a volunteer is a very rewarding experience. It’s been an important part of my life for 16 years and I get so much out of it," Heather, volunteer for St Joseph’s, Coffs Harbour.
