Aquinas Court is an intimate boutique style village community in the heart of the lower Blue Mountains. Built on the site of the St Thomas Aquinas Primary School and the historic St Thomas Aquinas Church, Aquinas Court was opened in 1991. St Thomas Aquinas Church is preserved on the village site and provides a welcome chapel and community room for residents where social activities such as yoga and happy hour drinks can be enjoyed.
Bishop McCabe Retirement Village boasts a quiet, peaceful atmosphere and is located in Wollongong's northern suburb of Towradgi, only 10 minutes drive to the Central Business District. It is a small village of only 23 units, with a mix of one and two bedroom units which are available on a rental basis only.
Emmaus Retirement Village is centrally located between Liverpool and Penrith in a rural setting and is only a 10 minute drive to the local shopping centres of St. Clair and Erskine Park. The villlage is collocated with Emmaus Residential Aged Care, specialising in Dementia Specific Care and offers 23 units with a choice of spacious one, two or three bedrooms.
On 2 December 2015, Catholic Healthcare received approval from Hornsby Shire Council to redevelop the McQuoin Park site to include a new 122 bed residential aged care service and an integrated retirement living village of 168 units. Catholic Healthcare will also continue to run community care, day care services and overnight respite from the site, resulting in a truly integrated offering for residents of the area.
Boasting stunning views of Lake Illawarra and lush garden scenery, St Mary's Retirement Village offers 33 units, available on a rental basis only. Conveniently, the village is within easy walking distance to the St Mary's Catholic parish church and the Berkeley shopping centre is just half a kilometre away.
Situated in Sydney's Lower North Shore, St Peter's Green is a village-style precinct that offers a variety of housing options for older people. It is located at the former St Peter's Catholic Church site, on the corner of Felton Ave and 565 Mowbray Rd, Lane Cove North. Located in close proximity to Chatswood with 27 purpose-built seniors living units, St Peter's Green offers the ideal environment for retirement living. The residential aged care service offers low care and dementia care services for 93 older people.
The Bailly is a small, friendly village consisting of 12 units located near the township of Orange. It is co-located with St Francis Aged Care and is available on a rental basis only.
