Albert's story
Albert is 92. A former carpenter, Albert was an active and mobile man until he suffered a stroke that left half his body paralysed a year ago.
Unable to care for himself, Albert had to move from the two-bedroom unit he had owned for the past 20 years.
Albert now lives in a residential aged community that offers 24-hour personal care. With experienced nursing and care staff, Albert's family is confident he receives the care and support he needs. Although bound to a wheelchair, Albert looks forward to the morning walk with one of the carers around the community's gardens.
